A defective product is not allowed to be
used! There is a risk of injury!
- Do not use the product in the case of malfunc-
tions, damage or defects. If you determine a
defect on the product, remove the batteries from
the device and have the product inspected and
repaired, if necessary, before putting it into oper-
ation again.
- The LEDs are not replaceable. If the LEDs are de-
fective, the product must be disposed of.
- Significant danger can occur for the user in the
case of improper repairs.

The product is not allowed to be
manipulated! There is a risk of
injury from electric shock!
- The casing must not be opened and the product
must not be manipulated/modified under any
circumstances. Manipulations/modifications can
cause danger to life from electric shock. Manipu-
lations/modifications are prohibited for approval
reasons (CE).
- The product must not be covered up during use.
5.1 Safety instructions regarding
batteries

Fatal danger!
Batteries must not be swallowed!
There is a risk of fatal injuries!
- Batteries may be fatal if swallowed, so
this article and its batteries must be stored out of
the reach of small children.
- Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, soft
tissue perforations and death. Serious internal
chemical burns can already occur within 2 hours
of ingestion.
- If a battery has been swallowed, please consult a
doctor without delay!
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.

Fire and explosion hazard!
- Never recharge non-rechargeable bat-
teries, do not short-circuit and/or open
them. This may result in overheating,
risk of fire or bursting.
- Keep the product away from heat sourc-
es and direct sunlight, the batteries may
explode if overheated. There is a risk of injury.

Do not touch leaked batteries with
bare hands! There is a risk of
injury!
- Leaked or damaged batteries may cause chem-
ical burns if they come into contact with skin. Do
not touch leaked batteries with bare hands; there-
fore ensure that you wear appropriate protective
gloves in this case!
- Only use type LR6/AA batteries from the same
manufacturer.
- Insert the batteries into the designated battery
compartment with the correct polarity.
- Do not use combinations of old and new batter-
ies or rechargeable batteries.
- Store batteries in a dry and cool, not damp,
place.
- Never throw batteries into fire.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Disposable batteries also lose part of their ener-
gy during storage.
- Remove the batteries if the device is not in use.
- Discharged batteries must be immediately re-
moved in order to avoid battery leakage and thus
damage to the device.
- Empty batteries or used rechargeable batters
must be disposed of properly.
- Store disposable batteries separately from dis-
charged batteries, in order to avoid mix-ups.
6. Start-up
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Check whether all parts are available and unda-
maged.
If this is not the case, notify the specified service
address.

1. Press the locking button 9 on the spotlight unit
5 .
2. Fold up the spotlight unit 5 .
3. Rotate the lantern unit 6 slightly to the left, as
shown, until the catch is unlocked.
4. Pull the lantern unit 6 out of the lamp body 7 .
The battery compartment is in the lamp body 7 .
5. Pull out the protection wafer 4 .
6. Close the battery compartment in reverse order.
NOTE!
- If you reinsert the lantern unit
6 into the lamp
body 7 , make sure that the arrows 6a on the
lantern unit
6 and in the lamp body 7 as well
as the recess on the lantern unit 6 are aligned
as shown in Fig. B-A.
The product is now ready to use.
6.1 Functions

- Place the lamp with the spotlight unit 5 on a suit-
able surface, e.g. a table in a closed and locked
state.

1. Press the locking button 9 on the spotlight unit

2. Fold up the spotlight unit 5 .
3. Place the lamp on the lantern unit 6 .
NOTE!
- The bracket 8 and the spotlight unit 5 are both
pivotable and rotatable by 180°.
- For the product to stand firmly, align the spotlight
unit 5 such that it is above the lantern unit 6 .
Otherwise the product can tip over, see Fig. C / C.
6.2 Insert/replace batteries
If the light of the LEDs becomes weaker, the batteries
are depleted and need to be replaced. For this, pro-
ceed as follows, see Fig. B:
1. Open the battery compartment, as described un-
der 6. Start-up.
2. Remove the depleted batteries 2 .
3. Insert 3 new batteries of the type LR6/AA 2 into
the battery compartment with the correct polarity.
NOTE!
- If you reinsert the lantern unit 6 into the lamp
body 7 , make sure that the arrows 6a on the
lantern unit 6 and in the lamp body 7 as well
as the recess on the lantern unit 6 are aligned
as shown in Fig. B-A.
4. Close the battery compartment.
6.3 Use
Switching the product on / off:
- The lamp has a slider switch 3 for switching the
various functions on or off, see Fig. A.
1. Switch on lantern / table lamp
- Slide the slider switch 3 one step forwards. The
lantern / table lamp will illuminate with approx.
50 % luminosity.
- If you slide the slider switch 3 another step for-
wards, the lantern / table lamp will illuminate
with 100 % luminosity.
2. Switch on spotlight
- Slide the slider switch 3 all the way forwards.
The spotlight unit 5 illuminates with 100 % lumi-
nosity.
3. Switch off
- Slide the slider switch
3 all the way back.
7. Cleaning and care instructions

CAUTION!

Before cleaning, you must remove
the batteries from the battery
compartment. There is a risk of
electric shock!
- only clean with a dry cloth
- do not use any strong detergents and/or chemi-
cals
- do not immerse in water
- store in a cool, dry place and protected from UV
light
8. Conformity declaration
This device complies with the fundamen-
tal requirements and other relevant regu-
lations of the European Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU and the RoHS
Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete original con-
formity declaration is available from the importer.
9. Disposal
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging and operating
instructions are made of 100
% environmentally friendly materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling centres.
Disposal of the product
The product may not be disposed of with
normal household waste. Please find out
about disposal options for the product from
your local authority or town administration.
Disposal of the battery / rechargeable
batterie
- Defective or used rechargeable batter-
ies have to be recycled in accordance
with Directive 2006/66/EC and its
amendments.
- Batteries and disposable batteries are not per-
mitted to be disposed of with household waste.
They contain harmful heavy metals. Marking:
Pb (= lead), Hg (= mercury), Cd (= cadmium).
You are legally obligated to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. After use, you can
either return batteries to our point of sale or in
the direct vicinity (e.g. with a retailer or in munic-
ipal collection centres) free of charge. Batteries
and rechargeable batteries are marked with a
crossed-out waste bin.
10. Warranty
Warranty from TRADIX GmbH & Co. KG
Dear customer, the warranty on this product is 3
years from the purchase date. In the event of defects
in this product, you are entitled to exercise your stat-
utory rights against the seller of the product. These
statutory rights are not limited by our warranty de-
scribed in the following.
11. Warranty conditions
The warranty begins on the date of purchase. Please
keep the original receipt. This document is required
as verification of the purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect arises within
three years from the purchase date of this product,
the product will be repaired or replaced, as per our
choice, at no charge to you. This warranty service
requires the submission of the purchase receipt and
the defective product within the three-year period
and a short written description of the defect and
when it arose.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired
or a new product will be returned to you. The war-
ranty period does not restart with the repair or re-
placement of the product.
Guarantee period and statutory claims for
defects
The guarantee period will not be extended by the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired
parts. Damage and defects which may possibly al-
ready exist upon purchase must be reported imme-
diately after unpacking. After the guarantee period
has expired, required repairs shall be subject to a
charge.
Scope of guarantee
The device has been carefully produced under strict
quality guidelines and conscientiously inspected pri-
or to delivery. The guarantee service applies to ma-
terial or manufacturing faults. This guarantee does
not extend to product parts, which are exposed to
normal wear and tear and can therefore be regard-
ed as wearing parts or to damage to fragile parts,
e.g. switches, battery packs or which are made of
glass.
This guarantee shall lapse, if the product is damag-
es, not used properly or maintained properly. For
proper use of the product, all of the instructions in the
operating instructions must be precisely complied
with. Purposes and actions, which are dissuaded
from or warned about in the operating instructions
must be avoided.
The product is only intended for private and not com-
mercial use. In the case of abusive and improper
handling, use of force and with interventions, which
are not performed by our authorised service branch,
the guarantee shall lapse.

- Gebruik het product niet in geval van functio-
nele storingen, schade of defecten. Als u een
defect in het product constateert, verwijder
dan de batterijen uit het apparaat en laat het
product controleren en zo nodig repareren
voordat u het weer in gebruik neemt.
- De LED's kunnen niet worden vervangen. Als
de LED's defect zijn, moet het product worden
afgevoerd.
- Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen aanzienlijk
gevaar voor gebruikers met zich meebren-
gen.

worden gemanipuleerd! Er
bestaat letselgevaar door
elektrische schokken!
- De behuizing mag in geen geval worden
geopend en het product mag niet worden
gemanipuleerd/gewijzigd. Bij manipulaties/
wijzigingen bestaat er levensgevaar door
elektrische schokken. Manipulaties/wijzigin-
gen zijn om goedkeuringsredenen (EEG) ver-
boden.
- Het product mag tijdens het gebruik niet wor-
den afgedekt.
5.1 Veiligheidsinstructies m.b.t.

Levensgevaar!
Er mogen geen batterijen
worden ingeslikt! Er bestaat
levensgevaar!
- Batterijen kunnen levensgevaarlijk zijn als ze
worden ingeslikt. Daarom moeten dit product
en de daarbijbehorende batterijen buiten het
bereik van jonge kinderen worden gehouden.
- Inslikken kan brandwonden, perforatie van
weke delen en de dood tot gevolg hebben.
Binnen 2 uur na inslikken kunnen er ernstige
inwendige brandwonden ontstaan!
- Als een batterij is ingeslikt, raadpleeg dan onmid-
dellijk een arts!
- Berg de batterijen buiten het bereik van kin-
deren op.

Brand- en ontploffingsgevaar!
- Laad niet-oplaadbare batterijen niet
nog een keer op, sluit ze ook niet
kort en maak ze niet open. Dit kan
oververhitting, brandgevaar, of bar-
sten tot gevolg hebben.
- Houd het product uit de buurt van
warmtebronnen en direct zonlicht, de batte-
rijen kunnen exploderen als gevolg van over-
verhitting. Er bestaat letselgevaar!

Letselgevaar!
Lekkende batterijen niet met
blote handen aanraken! Er
bestaat letselgevaar!
- Lekkende of beschadigde batterijen kunnen
brandwonden veroorzaken wanneer ze in
contact komen met de huid. Lekkende batterij-
en niet met blote handen aanraken; daarom
in dit geval geschikte veiligheidshandschoe-
nen dragen!
- Gebruik alleen batterijen van het type LR6/
AA van dezelfde fabrikant.
- Plaats de batterijen volgens hun polariteit in
het daarvoor bestemde batterijvakje.
- Gebruik geen combinatie van oude en nieu-
we batterijen of oplaadbare batterijen.
