The device is composed of:
- flexible lateral reinforcement,
- a double functional strapping ensuring good lateral support,
- un tissu en synthetic rubber (SBR).
Composition
Textile components: polyamide - synthetic rubber (SBR) - polyester -
thermoplastic polyurethane - elastan - ethylene vinyl acetate -
polyethylene - Natural latex.
Rigid components: polyamide - Zinc alloy.
Stabilisation of the knee ligaments provided by the double strapping
system.
Anti-slip system to prevent the knee brace slipping.
Opening to make fitting easier.
Limitation of the heat loss by the synthetic rubber (SBR).
Indications
Joint instability/laxity.
Knee pain and/or swelling management.
Sport activities resumption.
Contraindications
Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of the components.
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
History of venous or lymphatic disorders.
Do not use in the event of major venous thromboembolic history
without thromboprophylaxis.
Precautions
Verify the product’s integrity before every use.
Do not use the product if it is damaged.
Choose the appropriate size to fit the patient, referring to the size chart.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product for
another patient.
Consult a healthcare professional in case of uncertain diagnosis.
It is recommended to adequately tighten the device to achieve
support/immobilisation without restricting blood circulation.
In the event of discomfort, significant hindrance, pain, variation in limb
volume, abnormal sensations or change in colour of the extremities,
remove the device and consult a healthcare professional.
In case of doubt before any sports activity, consult a healthcare
professional.
Contains natural latex.
In the event of any modification in the product's performance, remove
it and consult a healthcare professional.
Do not wear the product in a medical imaging machine.
Do not use the device in case of application of certain products on the
skin (creams, ointments, oils, gels, patches…).
Undesirable side-effects
This device can cause skin reactions (redness, itching, burns,
blisters,etc.) or wounds of various degrees of severity.
Any serious incidents related to the product should be reported to the
manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in
which the user and/or patient is resident.
Instructions for use/Application
It is recommended to wear the device directly on the skin, unless
contraindicated.
To avoid damage to the knit fabric, please make sure that the self-
griping pads are always fastened to the designated self-griping
surfaces when putting it on and taking it off.
Close the tissue fabrics sheath onto the joint as slightly bent, starting
from the low portion.
Adjust the kneecap adjustment first
❶ and then the fastening tab ❷.
Repeat the operations for the upper portion.
Once in place, the knee brace clamps and holds the kneecap.
Tighten the lower cross-over straps and wrap them around the rear of
the knee to fasten them

Then tighten the upper straps and fasten them at rear of the knee
support

Make sure the straps do not go on the kneecap. Release it if necessary.
For confort during wear, make sure the straps are not creased.
If you feel the need to tighten the straps during an activity, make sure
you tighten them following the steps indicated in the fitting instructions.
Care
Close the self-fastening tabs before washing. Machine washable at 30 °C.
Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products
(products containing chlorine). Squeeze out excess water. Dry away
from any direct heat source (radiator, sun, etc.). If the device is exposed
to seawater or chlorinated water, make sure to rinse it in clear water
and dry it.
Storage
Store at room temperature, preferably in the original packaging.
Disposal
Disposeof in accordance with local regulations.
