This guarantee covers the electronic thermostat, cable, and the
heating blanket itself. This guarantee does not cover incorrec
t
use, accidents or damage resulting from failure to follow instruc-
tions, or modifications to the device not carried out by the ma
nu-
facturer.
The guarantee is only valid upon presentation of the guar-
antee card filled ou

This device is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
For household use only!
•
Use the heating blanket:
− exclusively as an underblanket with the original hand
control.
− do not use if wet.
Before use, damp or wet heating blan-
kets must be dried thoroughly.
−
do not use if folded.
− do not use if
strongly creased.
−
do not use it for
infirm or people insensitive to heat.
− do not use it for
infants or babies. Do not leave children
unsupervised with the electric heat pad because they cannot
correctly recognise or appreciate possible dangers.
•
Before each use of the heating blanket make sure that it
is not damaged.
It should not be used in case of visible
damage of the thermostat, switches, plug or the heating
blanket itself.
•
Do not insert pins or other sharp objects.
•
Do not cover the thermostat.
To ensure the thermostat can
function correctly, do not place
it on or under blankets, pillows
or clothing.
•
Please make sure that the heating blanket does not get
trapped when used on an adjustable bed.
•
The cable should not be wound around the thermostat.
•
Examine the device frequently for signs of wear or
damage.
If there are signs of wear or damage or the device has
been misused, please contact the manufacturer or authorised
agent (see below) prior to any further use.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised age
nt or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid any hazards.
•
Do not attempt to open or repair the device your self.
Special tools are required to re-assemble the device.
•
When not in use, store the electric heating blanket in the
original packing in a dry place.
Do not place heavy objects
on the heating blanket.
1. Beginning from the foot end sp
read out the heating blanket flat
onto the mattress
.
2. After this, drag the sheet as usually over the bed for the heating
blanket to come between the mattress and the sheet.
3. Make sure that the heating blanket is spread out flat without
any folds. Check this also while making the beds as the heating
blanket may only be used if it is spread out evenly.
4. Now you can switch on the heating blanket using the hand
control. Level 1 corresponds to
minimal and level 6 to maximal
heating. For a comfortably warm bed, switch on the heating
blanket to level 6 approx. 30 minutes before going to bed and
cover it with the quilt. After this reduce the heat to the levels
1-3, this is especially suited fo
r the use during the entire night.
5.
After 12 hours continuous use, the heating blanket
switches off automatically.
However, the indicator lamp
will remain illuminated. To reset the timer and start a new
heating period, move the slider to the off «0» position and then
back to the desired heat setting.
6. Unplug the heating blanket when finished.
WARNING:
Always unplug the power cable from the
mains socket before you undertake any cleaning of the
product.
1. Detach the plug coupling and thereby the switch before
starting the washing cycle. Do not allow the thermostat to get
wet.
2. The heating blanket must not be dry-cleaned!
3. The heating blanket may be machine washed according
to the washing instructio
ns given on the cover.
Wash the
heating blanket at 40 °C using the gentle washing program for
sensitive textiles and a fine-fabric detergent.
4. For laundering put the heating blanket into a laundry bag.
5. Do not spin-dry or use a tumble-drier.
6. Dry the heating blanket carefully. In order to do so, place
it on
a clotheslines or a rail. Do not attach using clothes pegs.
On no
account use the device for drying.
Do not connect to the
power supply before the blanket is entirely dry.

Frequent laundering leads to premature ageing.
Wear and
tear as a consequence of frequent or incorrect laun-
dering is excluded from the guarantee.
