End of the game

The game ends when one player has placed their last sock in a laundry basket and is then

the ﬁrst to place their hand on the sock monster on the box. Sock strong! You are the fastest

sock monster far and wide!

Monster honor

Even though things get a little crazy on the wild sock

hunt, sock monsters are always very honest! That‘s why

it‘s important that everyone follows the rules. But if at

the end of the game someone suspects that the winner

cheated and didn‘t always run to the right laundry bas

ket, this is easy to check: follow the winner‘s path from

the box with the sock monster to the laundry baskets,

checking their socks and the socks underneath them.

You can recognize the winner‘s socks by the holes.

This makes it easy to check whether they won fair and

square or whether they‘re a sock cheat.

But as mentioned, generally it‘s a matter of honor that

you don‘t cheat!

Game variants

Now things are getting even more wild. The monster-strong clothespin brings even more

movement to the game! The basic rules of the game apply, but with the following changes:

• at the start of the game the clothespin is attached to a laundry basket of your choice.

• decide on an action: e.g. clapping your hands three times, doing ﬁve squats or crawling to

the next laundry basket.

• if during the game when you end up at the laundry basket with the clothespin, you must

ﬁrst carry out the action.

• after putting your sock in the laundry basket you take the clothespin with you to the next

laundry basket and put in on this one. Now the next player who gets to this laundry basket

needs to carry out the action, put a sock in the laundry basket and then take the clothespin

with them.

The winner is the player who, after distributing all their socks, manages to be the ﬁrst to put

their hand on the sock monster on the box.
