Instruction manual for »S 100 EB«

with »daylight-running-function«

Headlight with 1 LED High Efﬁciency LED

(100 LUX / 250 Lm)

Nominal performance: 3,7 Watt

Input voltage: 6V-12V DC

4 Daytime running light-LEDs (4 x 20 Lm)

Tested and approved in accordance with the

German Road Trafﬁc Licensing Regulations

(StVZO)

with daytime night sensor which switches

the daytime running light function

Important:

The 6-12 V DC version is marked with the symbol

DC AC. It should be noted that the use of the

6-12 V DC AC version is only permitted for

bicycles with electric assisted pedalling (e-bikes)

if, following a discharge-based shut-down of the

support drive, an uninterrupted power supply to

the lighting system is ensured for at least two

hours, or if the drive motor can be used tempora-

rily as a generator in order to continue to supply

power to the lighting system.

The light is switched on/off using the bike control

unit with pedal assistance.

Mounting:

The sensor distinguishes between BRIGHT and DARK

> BRIGHT (UV-light) The complete light unit is shining

(The running light is working dimmed and the »day-running-lights« are also shining)

> DARK The running light reaches its full capacity, the »day-running light« takes over the standlight function

(4 minutes max.)

ATTENTION If one diode is not working the complete lighting unit must be exchanged.

Mount the headlight with the

enclosed bracket on the bicycles

triple clamp in a way that the cone

of light reach the road 10 m ahead

of the bike.

The following mounting heights

apply to headlamps on bicycles:

min. height: 400mm

max. height: 1200mm

Before each ride, make sure that

the tail light is not concealed.

When mounting the light, make

sure that the screws are only ﬁxed

so tightly that the position of the

light can not be removed by itself.
