then save it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in

Safety
• Never use theproduct together with atimer switch, multi-socket
extension lead or similar device.
• Always unplug thelead from thepower point and let theproduct cool
down properly before cleaningit. Iftheproduct has acrumb tray it
should be emptied and cleaned regularly. Useasoft, damp cloth to
clean thehousing. Neveruse solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or
lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe
way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged
8or over, but only under adult supervision.
• Keep theproduct and its mains lead out of reach of children under
theage of 8.
• Place theproduct on aflat, fire resistant and durable surface.
• Remove all packaging beforeuse.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water
or other liquid.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage. Referto
theproduct’s ratingplate.
• Make sure that thelead does not come in contact with hot surfaces
such as cookerhobs.
• Theproduct should be used only as described in this manual.
• Keep in mind that theproduct may get hot duringuse.
• Never insert cutlery, tools or similar objects into theproduct.
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket before cleaning it
or when it is not to be used for alongtime.
• Never subject theproduct to knocks orblows.
• Do not pull or carry theproduct by its mainslead. Donot use
thelead as ahandle and do not let it fasten in doorjambs. Donot
pull thelead around sharp corners oredges.
• Theproduct should only be used and stored indoors.
• Do not use theproduct if themains lead or its plug is damaged.
Donot use theproduct if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it
outdoors or dropped it intowater.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain components inside thecasing
carry dangerous electrical current. Contact with these components
could result in electricshock.
• This product should only be repaired by aqualified service technician.
• Theproduct must not be taken apart or modified.
• If theproduct should start to emit smoke, switch it off immediately
and pull theplug out of thewall socket.

Product description
Changing cooking plates
1. Unplug thecupcake maker and let it cool before removing
thecooking plates.
2. Lift thelid and push in theupper and lower plate release buttons to
remove theplates and changethem.
Operating instructions
When thecupcake maker is used for thefirst time, it may emit aslight
odour orsmoke. Thisis completely normal and not at all dangerous.
1. Plug themains lead into awall socket. Thepower indicator light (3)
will comeon.
2. Let thecupcake maker warm up to cooking temperature
(takesabout 5 minutes). Theready indicator light (4) goes out when
thecupcake maker reaches cooking temperature.
3. Fill theholes in thelower plate 2/3 full with cupcake mixture.
Avoidtouching thesurface of theplates as they become veryhot.
4. Carefully close thelid and lock it using thecatch.
5. Bake thecupcakes for about 8–12 minutes until they are
goldenbrown. Handyhint! Lift thelid after about 8 minutes and
check if they ready by inserting acocktail stick which should come
outclean.
6. Only use plastic or wooden spatulas or utensils to help remove
thecupcakes once they areready.
NOTE: Neveruse any sharp implements to help remove thecakes.
Sharpor metal utensils can damage thenon-stick surface of theplates.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket before cleaning.
• Thecooking plates have aneasy-clean, non-stick coating.
Wipewith asoft, lightly moistenedcloth.
• Never immerse theproduct inwater.
• Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Never wash theproduct in adishwasher.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.

Before initialuse
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Clean theupper and lower plates with asoft damp cloth or sponge.
3. Apply athin coating of vegetable oil to thetwo cooking plates.
Thiswill help thecakes release from theplates after cooking.
4. Make sure that no water gets inside theproduct.
