Use

• The blanket has anintegrated timer that shuts off theheat after 90 minutes.

• The blanket shuts off automatically if it overheats.

1. Connect thecontrol unit to theblanket (it only fits in one way) and

then connect theplug to amains socket.

2. Press [

] to start heating theblanket.

3. Press [

] once or repeatedly to adjust theheat to asetting between

1 and 4, where 4 is thehighest setting.

4. Press [

] to switch off theheat.

Care and maintenance

Note! Allow the blanket to cool completely before Storing or cleaning.

Storing the blanket

• Fold the blanket carefully and store it in a dry, dust-free place out of the

reach of children if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.

• Do not crease the product by placing items on top of it during

storage.

Cleaning the blanket

1. Unplug theblanket from themains and disconnect thecontrol unit

from theblanket before cleaning/washing it.

2. Clean thecontrol unit using adry cloth.

3. The blanket will usually only need to be aired, but if has stains on it,

they can be removed with adamp cloth. Use amild detergent.

Never use solvents or corrosive chemicals. The blanket can also be

machine-washed. Use agentle wash cycle at amaximum of 30 degrees.

Caution

• Please note that frequent washing of the heat pad has a negative

effect on the product. The heat pad should therefore be washed in a

washing machine a maximum of 5 times during its lifetime.

• Immediately after washing. Reshape the heat pad to its original di-

mensions while it is still damp and spread it out flat on a clothes horse

to dry.

Responsible disposal

This symbol indicates that theproduct should not be

disposed of with general household waste. This applies

throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any harm to

theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect

waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for

recycling so that thematerials can be disposed of in

aresponsible way. To recycle theproduct, take it to your

local recycling facility or contact theretailer. They will

ensure that theproduct is disposed of in away that does

not harm theenvironment.

• Do not pull, twist, bend or fold thecables.

• Never use theproduct if it or its mains lead or plug is damaged or not

functioning correctly.

• If themains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by alead with

thesame specifications as theoriginal.

• Put theproduct in aposition where there is no risk of people tripping

over its power cord.

• The product must only be connected to astandard domestic 220–240V,

50/60Hz electrical supply.

• Do not cover theproduct.

• Do not use theproduct with other heat sources, such as hot water

bottles, heated cushions or similar items.

• Examine the product regularly to detect any signs of wear or damage.

If the product is damaged in any way, it must not be used.

• The product is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
