rating of the appliance.

20. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of

electrical shock, this plug is intended to ﬁ t into a polarized outlet only one way.

21. Keep hands away from the machine when it is in the ON position and is spinning.

INTRODUCTION

You can use regular household granulated sugar in your cotton candy maker.

Using your cotton candy maker

Your cotton candy maker is already fully assembled.

1. Remove the bowl from the base unit. Wash the bowl in warm water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

2. After cleaning and thoroughly drying the bowl, return to base unit with the plastic tabs on the

bowl. The tabs on the bowl will ﬁ t under the plastic tabs as you turn the bowl counterclock-

wise to LOCK. Make sure it is secured and locked into position.

3. To remove, turn clockwise to UNLOCK. (Figure D). Do not wash or immerse the base unit in

water or liquids.

4. Return the extractor head assembly, making sure that the grooves are properly aligned to ﬁ t

over the pegs on the stem (Figure B & C)

Now you are ready to enjoy tasty, ﬂ uffy cotton candy from your cotton candy maker:

1. First, ﬁ nd a stable surface near an electrical outlet before starting. (Make sure the cord is

away from any water source. If needed, it is acceptable to use an extension cord)

2. Plug in unit at the OFF position.

3. Turn the unit to ON position and allow to run for at least 3-5 minutes. This will allow it to

warm up.

4. Then stop the extractor head and put the sugar in. Measure level tablespoon of sugar with

measuring spoon. Pour sugar into center receptacle (Figure F). Switch to ON position.

5. The machine will spin the sugar into a ﬂ ossy sweet treat that you collect on a paper cone by

spinning the cone as it circles the bowl.

6. When you can visually see the cotton candy ‘web’ begin, collect the cotton candy on the

cone by holding the cone vertically. Rotate the cone with your ﬁ ngers while you circle the

bowl, once cotton candy has collected on the cone, then hold the cone in a horizontal

position over the extractor head still rotating the cone with your ﬁ ngers. Continue turning the

cone with your ﬁ ngers while the cone is in the horizontal position and move form side to side

making sure you are collecting all the cotton candy. (Figure G)

7. Turn the unit OFF when all the sugar has been dispensed. Once the extractor head has

come to a complete stop, you can pour another measure of sugar in the extractor head and

begin. The cotton candy should be ﬂ owing more quickly as the unit should be sufﬁ ciently

warmed up.
