RATTLESNAKE SL mtnGLO

SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove contents from stu sack. Spread the tent body out at on the ground

2. Stake out the four corners of the tent body.

3. Assemble the two poles: One main pole with two hubs and one short straight cross-

over pole. To ensure each pole section is fully seated insert each pole section into

the next by hand, instead of allowing the shock cord to snap them together.

4. Position the assembled pole set on top of the tent body. SL1 & SL2: Align the nar-

rower end of the main pole set with the silver webbing at the end of the tent and

the wider end of the pole set with the green webbing at the head end of the tent.

SL3 & SL4: the main pole has equal length pole sections so the pole tips may be

inserted at either end.

5. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the tent.

6. Attach the plastic clips on the tent body to the main pole.

7. Place the crossover pole across the top of the ridge pole. Clip the ends of the cross-

over pole into the clear plastic Ball Cap clips that are located above the doors on the

tent body.

8. Drape the rainy over the tent body aligning the silver and green webbing of the

tent body to the silver and green webbing of the y. Note: There are SQ rings on the

underside of the rainy above both doors that are used in the Fast Fly set up.

9. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainy is completely slackened. Attach

the buckles of the rainy to those on the tent body.

10. Stake out the vestibules.

11. Evenly tension the webbing on each corner as needed to keep the rainy taut.

12. Stake out all guylines.

Separate 6”, large diameter pole segment included for emergency

eld repair. Slide repair pole over the break to act as a splint.

FAST FLY SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

If you purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for your Rattlesnake SL tent, it will en-

able you to pitch a shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly conguration

requires the footprint, rainy, poles and stakes.

1. Lay the footprint on the ground and stake out.

2. Assemble the two poles: One main pole with two hubs and one short straight cross-

over pole. To ensure each pole section is fully seated insert each pole section into

the next by hand, instead of allowing the shock cord to snap them together.

3. Position the assembled pole set on top of the tent body. SL1 & SL2: Align the nar-

rower end of the main pole set with the silver webbing at the end of the footprint

and the wider end of the pole set with the green webbing at the head end of the

footprint. SL3 & SL4: the main pole has equal length pole sections so the pole tips

may be inserted at either end.

4. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the footprint.

5. Drape the rainy over the pole structure, aligning the silver and green webbing of

the y with the silver and green webbing of the footprint.

6. Climb in and place the crossover pole across the middle of the ridge pole, inserting

the tips into the SQ rings located on the underside of the y.

7. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainy is completely slackened. Attach

the buckles of the rainy to those on the tent body.

8. Evenly tension the webbing on each corner as needed to keep the rainy taut.

9. Stake out all guylines.

controller (batteries not included)

2. Put the controller back in the pocket and connect to the tent light USB

3. Push the button on the controller - one click is for full power, second click will

adjust the light to 50% power and the third click will turn it o.

4. Always disconnect the controller before packing your tent to save battery life
