Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• Keep your hands, face and other body parts away from the steam hole. The steam from the appliance

becomes very hot during use.

• Do not cover the steam hole.

Filling the water reservoir (g. D)

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• Before lling the water reservoir, switch o the appliance and remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

• Do not ll the water reservoir with more water than required for making the coee. Only use the amount of

water required for making the coee. The appliance automatically stops when the water reservoir is empty.

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

• Do not use the appliance without water in the water reservoir.

• Do not exceed the maximum mark when you ll the water reservoir. Make sure that the water level is

always above the minimum mark during use.

• Only use cold water to ll the water reservoir.

• Do not use carbonated water or other liquids to ll the water reservoir.

• Do not pour water in the coee bean compartment.

• Open the cover (25).

• Fill the water reservoir (14) with water up to the required mark on the water level indicator (15).

• Do not ll the water reservoir with more water than required for making the coee. Only use the amount of

water required for making the coee. The appliance automatically stops when the water reservoir is empty.

• Close the cover (25).

Setting the coee quantity (g. B & C)

• The coee quantity selector (3) is used for setting the required coee quantity.

• The coee quantity selector (3) can be set to 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups.

Note: The appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press

any button to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

• Repeatedly press the coee quantity selector (3) to set the coee quantity. The number of cups (A) is

shown on the display (8).

Setting the coee strength (g. B & C)

• The coee strength selector (4) is used for setting the required coee strength. The coee strength

selector (4) can be set to mild coee (MILD), medium coee (MEDIUM) and strong coee (STRONG).

Note: The appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press

any button to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

• Repeatedly press the coee strength selector (4) to set the coee strength. The coee strength (B) is

shown on the display (8).

Setting the ground coee neness (g. E)

• The ground coee neness selector (9) is used for setting the required neness of the ground coee

when using coee beans. The ground coee neness selector (9) can be set to dierent positions from

ne coee grounds to coarse coee grounds.

• Turn the ground coee neness selector (9) to the required position to set the neness of the ground coee.

Making coee with coee beans (g. A - H)

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

• Only use coee beans that are suitable for the appliance.

• Only use paper coee lters (1x4) that are suitable for the appliance.

• If the grinding function is not activated, press the grinding button (2) to activate the grinding

function. The coee quantity and the coee strength are shown on the display.

• Fill the water reservoir (14) with the required amount of water.

• Do not ll the water reservoir with more water than required for making the coee. Only use the amount of

water required for making the coee. The appliance automatically stops when the water reservoir is empty.

• Open the cover (26).

• Fill the coee bean compartment (13) completely with coee beans.

• Close the cover (26).

• Set the ground coee neness. Refer to the section ”Setting the ground coee neness”.

• Press the release button (12) to open the lter holder assembly (11).

• Place a suitable coee lter in the coee lter holder (10).

• Close the lter holder assembly (11) until the release button (12) clicks into place.

Note: The appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press

any button to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

• Set the coee quantity. Refer to the section ”Setting the coee quantity”.

• Set the coee strength. Refer to the section ”Setting the coee strength”.

• Place the coee pot (16) on the heating plate (18).

• Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1). The cup-of-coee symbol (E) starts ashing.

After a few seconds, the appliance starts grinding the coee beans and making the coee.

• To interrupt the process, press the on/o button (1).

• If the process is completed, the appliance will beep and switch to keep-warm mode. The cup-of-

coee symbol (E) stops ashing. The appliance can be switched o by pressing the on/o button (1)

or the appliance switches o automatically after ½ hours.

• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.

Making coee with ground coee (g. A, B, C, D & G)

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

• Only use ground coee that is suitable for the appliance.

• Only use paper coee lters (1x4) that are suitable for the appliance.

• If the grinding function is activated, press the grinding button (2) to deactivate the grinding function.

The coee quantity and the coee strength are not shown on the display.

• Fill the water reservoir (14) with the required amount of water.

• Do not ll the water reservoir with more water than required for making the coee. Only use the amount of

water required for making the coee. The appliance automatically stops when the water reservoir is empty.

• Press the release button (12) to open the lter holder assembly (11).

• Place a suitable coee lter in the coee lter holder (10).

• Put the required amount of coee in the coee lter.

• Close the lter holder assembly (11) until the release button (12) clicks into place.

• Place the coee pot (16) on the heating plate (18).

Note: The appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press

any button to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

• Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1). The cup-of-coee symbol (E) starts ashing.

The appliance starts making the coee.

• To interrupt the process, press the on/o button (1).

• If the process is completed, the appliance will beep and switch to keep-warm mode. The cup-of-

coee symbol (E) stops ashing. The appliance can be switched o by pressing the on/o button (1)

or the appliance switches o automatically after ½ hours.

• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.

Delay start function (g. B & C)

• The appliance has a delay start function which makes it possible to program the time for starting the

coee-making process.

Note: The appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press

any button to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

• Set the clock. Check whether the clock has already been set. If the clock has not been set, refer to the

section ”Setting the clock”.

• Set the coee quantity. Refer to the section ”Setting the coee quantity”.

• Set the coee strength. Refer to the section ”Setting the coee strength”.

• Keep the timer button (5) pressed until the timer indicator (C) ashes.

• Repeatedly press the hour button (6) to set the hours.

• Repeatedly press the minute button (7) to set the minutes.

• Press the timer button (5) to save the settings. The timer indicator (C) lights continuously.

• To interrupt the process, press the timer button (5) again. The timer indicator (C) goes o.

Note: If you want to make coee with ground coee, switch o the grinding function before using the

delay start function.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• Before cleaning or maintenance, always switch o the appliance, remove the mains plug from the wall

socket and wait until the appliance has cooled down.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.

• Do not use sharp objects to clean the appliance.

• Regularly check the appliance for possible damage.

Clean the accessories:

• Clean the coee pot in soapy water.

• Clean the coee lter holder in soapy water.

• Clean the lid of the coee bean compartment in soapy water.

• Thoroughly dry the accessories.

• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry the outside of the appliance with a clean, dry cloth.

• Store the appliance in a dry and frost-free place, out of the reach of children.

Cleaning the grinding compartment (g. C & I)

When grinding coee beans, coee powder can clog the grinding mechanism. The grinding compartment

(19) must be cleaned when the warning symbol (E01) is shown on the display (8). The grinding

compartment (19) can be cleaned every 2 weeks to prevent the grinding mechanism from being clogged.

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

• Before cleaning the grinding compartment, take the following actions:

• Switch o the appliance.

• Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

• Remove the coee pot from the heating plate.

• Empty the coee lter holder. Place a suitable coee lter. Close the lter holder assembly.

• Loosen the screw (27) using the screwdriver (21).

• Open the cover (28).

• Clean the grinding compartment (19) using the brush (21).

• Close the cover (28).

• Tighten the screw (27) using the screwdriver (21).

Descaling the appliance (g. A - D)

• The appliance must be descaled after each 70 brewing cycles. If you leave the mains plug in the wall

socket, the appliance will keep track of the number of brewing cycles. The indicator (D) will ash on

the display to indicate that the appliance must be descaled.

• If the appliance must be descaled, use a suitable descaling agent. Special descaling agents are

available from our service station.

• Before descaling the appliance, the old carbon lter must be removed from the water reservoir.

• The carbon lter removes chlorine and other contaminants from the water for a pure coee

• taste. After descaling the appliance, a new carbon lter must be placed in the water reservoir. New

carbon lters are available from our service station.

Note: Princess will not be responsible for any damage caused by descaling agents. Damage caused by

not regularly descaling the appliance is not covered by the guarantee.

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• Before descaling the appliance, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the

appliance has cooled down.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.

• Make sure that the grinding function is not activated when descaling the appliance.

• Open the cover (25).

• If necessary, empty the water reservoir (14).

• Remove the carbon lter holder (20) from the water reservoir (14).

• Open the cover (28).

• Remove the old carbon lter (30).

• Place the new carbon lter (29).

• Close the cover (28).

Note: The carbon lter holder must not be placed in the water reservoir before the appliance has been descaled.

• Fill the water reservoir (14) with a suitable descaling agent.

• Place the coee pot (16) on the heating plate (18).

• Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.

• Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1).

• Let the appliance run until 1/3 of the descaling agent is in the coee pot (16).

• Switch o the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1).

• Let the descaling agent work for approximately 30 minutes.

• Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1).

• Let the appliance run until the remaining descaling agent is in the coee pot (16). The appliance stops

automatically when the water reservoir (14) is empty.

Rinse the appliance twice according to the below procedure:

• Fill the water reservoir (14) with clean water up to the maximum mark on the water level indicator (15).

• Place the empty coee pot (16) on the heating plate (18).

• Switch on the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1).

• Let all water run through the appliance. The appliance stops automatically when the water reservoir

(14) is empty.

• Place the carbon lter holder (20) in the water reservoir (14).

• Close the cover (25).

• Switch o the appliance by pressing the on/o button (1).

• Keep the coee quantity selector (3) and the coee strength selector (4) pressed until the indicator

(D) disappears from the display (8) (g. C).

• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry the outside of the appliance with a clean,

dry cloth. The appliance is ready for use.

INITIAL USE

Preparation

Clean the accessories:

Setting the clock (g. B & C)

If the mains plug is inserted into the wall socket, the display (8) will light to indicate that the clock can be

set. The clock can be adjusted at any time later on.

• Repeatedly press the hour button (6) to set the hours.

• Repeatedly press the minute button (7) to set the minutes. The time is shown on the display (8).

USE

The appliance can be used for making coee with coee beans or ground coee. Before rst use, the

appliance is set to make coee with coee beans. After each use, the appliance will memorise the last

used setting for the next use: making coee with coee beans or making coee with ground coee. The

appliance can only be used when the display is activated. If the display is not activated, press any button

to activate the display. The appliance is ready for use.

EERSTE GEBRUIK

Voorbereiding

Reinig de accessoires:

• Reinig de koekan in sop. Spoel de koekan af.

• Reinig de koelterhouder in sop. Spoel de koelterhouder af.

• Reinig het deksel van het koebooncompartiment in sop. Spoel het deksel van het

koebooncompartiment af.

• Droog de accessoires grondig.

• Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Droog de buitenkant van het apparaat

met een schone, droge doek.

• Spoel het apparaat.

Instellen van de klok (g. B & C)

Indien de netstekker in het stopcontact wordt geplaatst, zal de display (8) gaan branden ter indicatie dat

de klok kan worden ingesteld. De klok kan later op ieder willekeurig moment worden bijgesteld.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de urenknop (6) om de uren in te stellen.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de minutenknop (7) om de minuten in te stellen. De tijd wordt zichtbaar op de display (8).

GEBRUIK

Het apparaat kan worden gebruikt voor het zetten van koe met koebonen of gemalen koe. Het

apparaat is voor het eerste gebruik ingesteld op het zetten van koe met koebonen. Na ieder gebruik

zal het apparaat de laatst gebruikt instelling onthouden voor het volgende gebruik: koe zetten met

koebonen of koe zetten met gemalen koe. Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer

de display is geactiveerd. Indien de display niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de

display te activeren. Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.

Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw aandacht voor de volgende punten:

• Houd uw handen, gezicht en andere lichaamsdelen uit de buurt van het stoomgat. De stoom uit het

apparaat wordt zeer heet tijdens gebruik.

• Bedek het stoomgat niet.

Vullen van het waterreservoir (g. D)

Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw aandacht voor de volgende punten:

• Schakel voor het vullen van het waterreservoir het apparaat uit en verwijder de netstekker uit het stopcontact.

• Vul het waterreservoir niet met meer water dan nodig voor het zetten van de koe. Gebruik

uitsluitend de benodigde hoeveelheid water voor het zetten van de koe. Het apparaat stopt

automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir leeg is.

Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij graag dat u uw aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:

• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder water in het waterreservoir.

• Vul het waterreservoir niet verder dan de maximummarkering. Zorg ervoor dat het waterniveau zich

tijdens gebruik altijd boven de minimummarkering bevindt.

• Vul het waterreservoir uitsluitend met koud water.

• Vul het waterreservoir niet met koolzuurhoudend water of andere vloeistoen.

• Giet geen water in het koebooncompartiment.

• Open het deksel (25).

• Vul het waterreservoir (14) met water tot de gewenste markering op de waterniveauindicator (15).

• Vul het waterreservoir niet met meer water dan nodig voor het zetten van de koe. Gebruik

uitsluitend de benodigde hoeveelheid water voor het zetten van de koe. Het apparaat stopt

automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir leeg is.

• Sluit het deksel (25).

Instellen van de koehoeveelheid (g. B & C)

• De koehoeveelheid-keuzeknop (3) wordt gebruikt voor het instellen van de gewenste

koehoeveelheid. De koehoeveelheidkeuzeknop (3) kan worden ingesteld op 2, 4, 6, 8 of 10 koppen.

Let op: Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer de display is geactiveerd.

• Indien de display niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de display te activeren.

Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de koehoeveelheidkeuzeknop (3) om de koehoeveelheid in te stellen. Het

aantal koppen (A) wordt zichtbaar op de display (8).

Instellen van de koesterkte (g. B & C)

• De koesterkte-keuzeknop (4) wordt gebruikt voor het instellen van de gewenste koesterkte. De

koesterkte-keuzeknop (4) kan worden ingesteld op milde koe (MILD), medium koe (MEDIUM) en

sterke koe (STRONG).

Let op: Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer de display is geactiveerd.

• Indien de display niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de display te activeren.

Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de koesterktekeuzeknop (4) om de koesterkte in te stellen. De koesterkte

(B) wordt zichtbaar op de display (8).

Instellen van de jnheid van de gemalen koe (g. E)

• De keuzeknop voor de jnheid van de gemalen koe (9) wordt gebruikt voor het instellen van

de gewenste jnheid van de gemalen koe bij het gebruik van koebonen. De keuzeknop voor

de jnheid van de gemalen koe (9) kan worden ingesteld op verschillende posities tussen jne

koemaling en grove koemaling.

• Draai de keuzeknop voor de jnheid van de gemalen koe (9) naar de gewenste positie om de

jnheid van de gemalen koe in te stellen.

Koe zetten met koebonen (g. A - H)

Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij graag dat u uw aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:

• Gebruik uitsluitend koebonen die geschikt zijn voor het apparaat.

• Gebruik uitsluitend papieren koelters (1x4) die geschikt zijn voor het apparaat.

• Indien de maalfunctie niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op de maalknop (2) om de maalfunctie te

activeren. De koehoeveelheid en de koesterkte worden zichtbaar op de display.

• Vul het waterreservoir (14) met de gewenste hoeveelheid water.

• Vul het waterreservoir niet met meer water dan nodig voor het zetten van de koe.

• Gebruik uitsluitend de benodigde hoeveelheid water voor het zetten van de koe. Het apparaat

stopt automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir leeg is.

• Open het deksel (26).

• Vul het koebooncompartiment (13) volledig met koebonen.

• Sluit het deksel (26).

• Stel de jnheid van de gemalen koe in. Zie het gedeelte ”Instellen van de jnheid van de gemalen koe”.

• Druk op de ontgrendelingsknop (12) om de lterhoudervoorziening (11) te openen.

• Plaats een geschikt koelter in de koelterhouder (10).

• Sluit de lterhoudervoorziening (11) totdat de ontgrendelingsknop (12) op zijn plaats klikt.

Let op: Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer de display is geactiveerd. Indien de display niet

geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de display te activeren. Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.

• Stel de koehoeveelheid in. Zie het gedeelte ”Instellen van de koehoeveelheid”.

• Stel de koesterkte in. Zie het gedeelte ”Instellen van de koesterkte”.

• Plaats de koekan (16) op de verwarmingsplaat (18).

• Schakel het apparaat in door de aan/uitknop (1) in te drukken. Het symbool met de kop koe (E)

begint te knipperen. Na een paar seconden begint het apparaat met het malen van de koebonen en

het zetten van de koe.

• Druk voor het onderbreken van het proces op de aan/uit-knop (1).

• Na het einde van het proces zal het apparaat piepen en overschakelen naar de warmhoudmodus. Het

symbool met de kop koe (E) stopt met knipperen. Het apparaat kan worden uitgeschakeld door de

aan/uit-knop (1) in te drukken of het apparaat schakelt na ½ uur automatisch uit.

• Laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.

Koe zetten met gemalen koe (g. A, B, C, D & G)

Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij graag dat u uw aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:

• Gebruik uitsluitend gemalen koe die geschikt is voor het apparaat.

• Gebruik uitsluitend papieren koelters (1x4) die geschikt zijn voor het apparaat.

• Indien de maalfunctie geactiveerd is, druk dan op de maalknop (2) om de maalfunctie te deactiveren.

De koehoeveelheid en de koesterkte worden niet zichtbaar op de display.

• Vul het waterreservoir (14) met de gewenste hoeveelheid water.

• Vul het waterreservoir niet met meer water dan nodig voor het zetten van de koe. Gebruik

uitsluitend de benodigde hoeveelheid water voor het zetten van de koe. Het apparaat stopt

automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir leeg is.

• Druk op de ontgrendelingsknop (12) om de lterhoudervoorziening (11) te openen.

• Plaats een geschikt koelter in de koelterhouder (10).

• Doe de gewenste hoeveelheid koe in het koelter.

• Sluit de lterhoudervoorziening (11) totdat de ontgrendelingsknop (12) op zijn plaats klikt.

• Plaats de koekan (16) op de verwarmingsplaat (18).

Let op: Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer de display is geactiveerd. Indien de

display niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de display te activeren. Het apparaat

is klaar voor gebruik.

• Schakel het apparaat in door de aan/uitknop (1) in te drukken. Het symbool met de kop koe (E)

begint te knipperen. Het apparaat begint met het zetten van de koe.

• Druk voor het onderbreken van het proces op de aan/uit-knop (1).

• Na het einde van het proces zal het apparaat piepen en overschakelen naar de warmhoudmodus. Het

symbool met de kop koe (E) stopt met knipperen. Het apparaat kan worden uitgeschakeld door de

aan/uit-knop (1) in te drukken of het apparaat schakelt na ½ uur automatisch uit.

• Laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.

Uitgestelde startfunctie (g. B & C)

Het apparaat heeft een uitgestelde startfunctie waarmee de tijd voor aanvang van het koezetproces

kan worden geprogrammeerd.

Let op: Het apparaat kan uitsluitend worden gebruikt wanneer de display is geactiveerd. Indien de

display niet geactiveerd is, druk dan op een willekeurige knop om de display te activeren. Het apparaat

is klaar voor gebruik.

• Stel de klok in. Controleer of de klok reeds ingesteld is. Indien de klok niet ingesteld is, zie het

gedeelte ”Instellen van de klok”.

• Stel de koehoeveelheid in. Zie het gedeelte ”Instellen van de koehoeveelheid”.

• Stel de koesterkte in. Zie het gedeelte ”Instellen van de koesterkte”.

• Houd de timerknop (5) ingedrukt totdat de timerindicator (C) knippert.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de urenknop (6) om de uren in te stellen.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de minutenknop (7) om de minuten in te stellen.

• Druk op de timerknop (5) om de instellingen op te slaan. De timerindicator (C) brandt continu.

• Druk voor het onderbreken van het proces nogmaals op de timerknop (5). De timerindicator (3) gaat uit.

Let op: Indien u koe wilt zetten met gemalen koe, schakel dan voor gebruik van de uitgestelde

startfunctie de maalfunctie uit.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw aandacht voor de volgende punten:

• Schakel voor reiniging en onderhoud altijd het apparaat uit, verwijder de netstekker uit het

stopcontact en wacht totdat het apparaat is afgekoeld.

• Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of andere vloeistoen. Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij

graag dat u uw aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:

• Gebruik geen bijtende of schurende reinigingsmiddelen om het apparaat te reinigen.

• Gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen om het apparaat te reinigen.

• Controleer het apparaat regelmatig op mogelijke schade.

• Reinig de accessoires:

• Reinig de koekan in sop.

• Reinig de koelterhouder in sop.

• Reinig het deksel van het koebooncompartiment in sop.

• Droog de accessoires grondig.

• Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Droog de buitenkant van het apparaat

met een schone, droge doek.

• Berg het apparaat op op een droge en vorstvrije plaats, buiten bereik van kinderen.

Reinigen van het maalcompartiment (g. C & I)

Tijdens het malen van koebonen kan koepoeder het maalmechanisme verstoppen.

Het maalcompartiment (19) moet worden gereinigd wanneer het waarschuwingssymbool (E01)

zichtbaar wordt op de display (8). Het maalcompartiment (19) kan iedere 2 weken worden gereinigd om

te voorkomen dat het maalmechanisme verstopt raakt.

Voordat u verdergaat, willen wij graag dat u uw aandacht vestigt op de volgende punten:

Préparer du café avec des grains de café (g. A - H)

Avant de procéder, nous souhaiterions que vous preniez connaissance des remarques suivantes :

• Utilisez uniquement des grains de café adaptés à l’appareil.

• Utilisez uniquement des ltres à café en papier (1x4) adaptés à l’appareil.

• Si la fonction de moulin est inactive, appuyez sur le bouton du moulin (2) pour l’activer. La quantité de

café et la puissance du café sont achées à l’écran.

• Remplissez le réservoir d’eau (14) avec la quantité d’eau requise.

• Ne remplissez pas le réservoir avec plus d’eau qu’il n’est nécessaire pour faire le café. Utilisez

uniquement la quantité d’eau nécessaire pour faire le café. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès

que le réservoir d’eau est rempli.

• Ouvrez le couvercle (26).

• Remplissez complètement le compartiment de grains de café (13).

• Fermez le couvercle (26).

• Réglez la nesse du café moulu. Consultez la section ”Réglage de la nesse du café moulu”.

• Appuyez sur le bouton de déblocage (12) pour ouvrir l’ensemble de porte-ltre (11).

• Placez un ltre à café adapté dans le porteltre à café (10).

• Fermez l’ensemble de porte-ltre (11) pour enclencher le bouton de déblocage (12).

Remarque : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un

bouton quelconque pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

• Réglez la quantité de café. Consultez la section ”Réglage de la quantité de café”.

• Réglez la puissance du café. Consultez la section ”Réglage de la puissance du café”.

• Placez le pot de café (16) sur la plaque chauante (18).

• Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1). Le symbole de tasse de café (E)

clignote. Après quelques secondes, l’appareil commence à moudre les grains de café et à préparer le café.

• Pour interrompre le processus, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Si le processus est terminé, l’appareil émet un bip et passe en mode de maintien de température. Le

symbole de tasse de café (E) cesse de clignoter. L’appareil peut être mis hors tension en appuyant sur

le bouton marche/arrêt (1). Sinon, il s’arrête automatiquement au bout de ½ heures.

• Laissez l’appareil refroidir complètement.

Préparation du café avec du café moulu (g. A, B, C, D & G)

Avant de procéder, nous souhaiterions que vous preniez connaissance des remarques suivantes :

• Utilisez uniquement du café moulu adapté à l’appareil.

• Utilisez uniquement des ltres à café en papier (1x4) adaptés à l’appareil.

• Si la fonction de moulin est active, appuyez sur le bouton du moulin (2) pour la désactiver. La quantité

de café et la puissance du café ne sont pas achées à l’écran.

• Remplissez le réservoir d’eau (14) avec la quantité d’eau requise.

• Ne remplissez pas le réservoir avec plus d’eau qu’il n’est nécessaire pour faire le café. Utilisez

uniquement la quantité d’eau nécessaire pour faire le café. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès

que le réservoir d’eau est rempli.

• Appuyez sur le bouton de déblocage (12) pour ouvrir l’ensemble de porte-ltre (11).

• Placez un ltre à café adapté dans le porteltre à café (10).

• Versez la quantité de café requise dans le ltre à café.

• Fermez l’ensemble de porte-ltre (11) pour enclencher le bouton de déblocage (12).

• Placez le pot de café (16) sur la plaque chauante (18).

Remarque : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un

bouton quelconque pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

• Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1). Le symbole de tasse de café

(E) clignote. L’appareil commence à préparer le café.

• Pour interrompre le processus, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

Fonction de retardateur (g. B & C)

• L’appareil bénécie d’une fonction de retardateur an de programmer l’heure de début du processus

de préparation du café.

Remarque : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un

bouton quelconque pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

• Réglez l’horloge. Vériez si l’horloge a déjà été réglée. Si l’horloge n’a pas été réglée, voir la section

”Réglage de l’horloge”.

• Réglez la quantité de café. Consultez la section ”Réglage de la quantité de café”.

• Réglez la puissance du café. Consultez la section ”Réglage de la puissance du café”.

• Maintenez le bouton du minuteur (5) appuyé pour que le témoin du minuteur (5) clignote.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le bouton des heures (6) pour régler les heures.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le bouton des minutes (7) pour régler les minutes.

• Appuyez sur le bouton du minuteur (5) pour enregistrer les réglages. Le témoin du minuteur (C) est

allumé en continu.

• Pour interrompre le processus, appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton du minuteur (5). Le témoin du

minuteur (C) s’éteint.

Remarque : Si vous préparez du café avec du café moulu, arrêtez la fonction de moulin avant d’utiliser la

fonction de retardateur.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Avant de procéder, vous devez faire attention aux remarques suivantes :

• Avant le nettoyage ou l’entretien, arrêtez toujours l’appareil, débranchez la che secteur de la prise

murale et attendez que l’appareil refroidisse.

• Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau ou autres liquides.

Avant de procéder, nous souhaiterions que vous preniez connaissance des remarques suivantes :

• N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs ou abrasifs pour nettoyer l’appareil.

• Ne nettoyez pas l’appareil avec des objets coupants.

• Contrôlez régulièrement les éventuels dommages sur l’appareil.

Nettoyez les accessoires :

• Nettoyez le pot de café à l’eau savonneuse.

• Nettoyez le porte-ltre à café à l’eau savonneuse.

• Nettoyez le couvercle du compartiment de grains de café à l’eau savonneuse.

• Séchez soigneusement les accessoires.

• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chion humide. Séchez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un

chion propre et sec.

• Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec, hors de portée des enfants et à l’abri du gel.

Nettoyage du compartiment du moulin (g. C & I)

• Lorsque vous moulez des grains de café, la poudre de café peut boucher le mécanisme du moulin. Le

compartiment du moulin (19) doit être nettoyé dès que le symbole d’avertissement (E01) est aché à l’écran (8).

• Le compartiment du moulin (19) peut être nettoyé toutes les 2 semaines pour éviter que le

mécanisme du moulin ne se bouche.

Avant de procéder, nous souhaiterions que vous preniez connaissance des remarques suivantes :

• Avant de nettoyer le compartiment du moulin, procédez comme suit :

• Éteignez l’appareil.

• Débranchez la che secteur de la prise murale.

• Retirez le pot de café de la plaque chauante.

• Videz le porte-ltre à café. Placez un ltre à café adapté. Fermez l’ensemble de porte-ltre.

• Desserrez la vis (27) avec le tournevis (21).

• Ouvrez le couvercle (28).

• Nettoyez le compartiment du moulin (19) avec la brosse (21).

• Fermez le couvercle (28).

• Serrez la vis (27) avec le tournevis (21).

Détartrage de l’appareil (g. A - D)

• L’appareil doit être détartré tous les 70 cycles de préparation. Si vous laissez la che secteur dans la

prise murale, l’appareil conserve en mémoire le nombre de cycles de préparation.

• Le témoin (D) clignote à l’écran (8). pour indiquer que l’appareil doit être détartré. Si l’appareil doit être

détartré, utilisez un détartrant adapté. Des agents détartrants spéciaux sont disponibles auprès de notre

station d’entretien. Avant de détartrer l’appareil, l’ancien ltre carbone doit être retiré du réservoir d’eau.

• Le ltre carbone élimine le chlore et autres agents contaminants de l’eau pour purier le goût du café.

Après le détartrage de l’appareil, le nouveau ltre carbone doit être placé dans le réservoir d’eau. Des

ltres carbone neufs sont proposés par notre station d’entretien.

Remarque : Princess décline toute responsabilité pour tout dommage occasionné par les agents détartrants. Les

dommages causés par l’absence de détartrage régulier de l’appareil ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.

Avant de procéder, vous devez faire attention aux remarques suivantes :

• Avant son détartrage, arrêtez toujours l’appareil, débranchez la che secteur de la prise murale et

attendez que l’appareil refroidisse.

• Ne plongez pas l’appareil dans l’eau ou autres liquides.

• Assurez-vous que la fonction du moulin est inactive lors du détartrage de l’appareil.

• Ouvrez le couvercle (25).

• Si nécessaire, videz le réservoir d’eau (14).

• Retirez le porte-ltre carbone (20) du réservoir d’eau (14).

• Ouvrez le couvercle (28).

• Retirez l’ancien ltre carbone (30).

• Placez le nouveau ltre carbone (29).

• Fermez le couvercle (28).

Remarque : Le porte-ltre carbone ne doit pas être placé dans le réservoir d’eau avant le détartrage de l’appareil.

• Remplissez le réservoir d’eau (14) avec un agent détartrant adapté.

• Placez le pot de café (16) sur la plaque chauante (18).

• Insérez la che secteur dans la prise murale.

• Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Laissez l’appareil en marche pour que le pot de café (16) contienne 1/3 de l’agent détartrant.

• Mettez l’appareil hors tension en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Laissez l’agent détartrant agir environ 30 minutes.

• Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Laissez l’appareil en marche pour que le pot de café (16) contienne le reste de l’agent détartrant.

L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès que le réservoir d’eau (14) est vide.

Rincez l’appareil deux fois selon la procédure suivante :

• Remplissez le réservoir (14) avec de l’eau propre jusqu’au repère maximum sur l’indicateur de niveau d’eau (15).

• Placez le pot de café vide (16) sur la plaque chauante (18).

• Mettez l’appareil en marche en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Laissez toute l’eau circuler dans l’appareil. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès que le réservoir

d’eau (14) est vide.

• Placez le porte-ltre carbone (20) dans le réservoir d’eau (14).

• Fermez le couvercle (25).

• Mettez l’appareil hors tension en appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (1).

• Maintenez le sélecteur de quantité de café (3) et celui de puissance du café (4) enfoncés jusqu’à ce

que le témoin (D) disparaisse de l’écran (8) (g. C).

• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chion humide. Séchez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un

chion propre et sec. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

jouent pas avec l’appareil.

UTILISATION INITIALE

Préparation

Nettoyez les accessoires :

• Nettoyez le pot de café à l’eau savonneuse. Rincez le pot de café.

• Nettoyez le porte-ltre à café à l’eau savonneuse. Rincez le porte-ltre à café.

• Nettoyez le couvercle du compartiment de grains de café à l’eau savonneuse. Rincez le couvercle du

compartiment de grains de café.

• Séchez soigneusement les accessoires.

• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chion humide. Séchez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un

chion propre et sec.

• Rincez l’appareil.

Réglage de l’horloge (g. B & C)

Si la che secteur est insérée dans la prise murale, l’écran (8) s’allume pour indiquer que l’horloge peut

être réglée. Par la suite, l’horloge peut être ajustée à tout moment.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le bouton des heures (6) pour régler les heures.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le bouton des minutes (7) pour régler les minutes. L’heure est

achée à l’écran (8).

UTILISATION

L’appareil peut servir à faire du café avec du café en grains ou moulu. Avant la première utilisation,

l’appareil est réglé pour préparer du café en grains. Après chaque utilisation, l’appareil mémorise le

dernier réglage d’utilisation : préparer du café avec du café en grains ou avec du café moulu. L’appareil

peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un bouton quelconque

pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

Avant de procéder, vous devez faire attention aux remarques suivantes :

• Maintenez vos mains, votre visage et les autres parties de votre corps éloignés de l’orice de vapeur.

La vapeur de l’appareil devient très chaude pendant l’utilisation.

• Ne couvrez pas l’orice de vapeur.

Remplissage du réservoir d’eau (g. D)

Avant de procéder, vous devez faire attention aux remarques suivantes :

• Avant de remplir le réservoir d’eau, arrêtez l’appareil et débranchez la che secteur de la prise murale.

• Ne remplissez pas le réservoir avec plus d’eau qu’il n’est nécessaire pour faire le café. Utilisez

niquement la quantité d’eau nécessaire pour faire le café. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès

que le réservoir d’eau est rempli.

Avant de procéder, nous souhaiterions que vous preniez connaissance des remarques suivantes :

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le réservoir d’eau est vide.

• Ne dépassez pas le repère maximum lorsque vous remplissez le réservoir d’eau. Assurez-vous que le

niveau de l’eau est toujours supérieur au repère minimum durant l’utilisation.

• Utilisez uniquement de l’eau froide pour remplir le réservoir d’eau.

• N’utilisez pas de l’eau gazeuse ou autres liquides pour remplir le réservoir.

• Ne versez pas d’eau dans le compartiment de grains de café.

• Ouvrez le couvercle (25).

• Remplissez le réservoir (14) avec de l’eau jusqu’au repère sur l’indicateur de niveau d’eau (15).

• Ne remplissez pas le réservoir avec plus d’eau qu’il n’est nécessaire pour faire le café. Utilisez

uniquement la quantité d’eau nécessaire pour faire le café. L’appareil s’arrête automatiquement dès

que le réservoir d’eau est rempli.

• Fermez le couvercle (25).

Réglage de la quantité de café (g. B & C)

• Le sélecteur de quantité de café (3) sert à régler la quantité de café voulue. Le sélecteur de quantité de

café (3) peut être réglé sur 2, 4, 6, 8 ou 10 tasses.

Remarque : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un

bouton quelconque pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le sélecteur de quantité de café (3) pour régler la quantité de café. Le

nombre de tasse (A) est aché à l’écran (8).

Réglage de la puissance du café (g. B & C)

• Le sélecteur de puissance du café (4) sert à régler la puissance de café voulue. Le sélecteur de

puissance du café (4) peut être réglé sur un café doux (MILD), moyen (MEDIUM) ou fort (STRONG).

Remarque : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement si l’écran est actif. Si l’écran est inactif, appuyez sur un

bouton quelconque pour l’activer. L’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.

• Appuyez de manière répétée sur le sélecteur de puissance du café (4) pour régler la puissance du café.

La puissance du café (B) est achée à l’écran (8).

Réglage de la nesse du café moulu (g. E)

• Le sélecteur de nesse du café moulu (9) sert à régler la nesse voulue pour le café moulu lorsque

vous utilisez des grains de café. Le sélecteur de nesse du café moulu (9) peut adopter diverses

positions de réglage, pour obtenir des grains moulus grossièrement ou nement.

• Positionnez le sélecteur de nesse du café moulu (9) selon vos désirs pour obtenir la nesse de café

moulu voulue.

• Schakel het apparaat uit.

• Draai de schroef (27) vast met behulp van de schroevendraaier (21).

Ontkalken van het apparaat (g. A - D)

• Het apparaat moet na iedere 70 brouwcycli worden ontkalkt. Indien u de netstekker in het

stopcontact laat, zal het apparaat het aantal brouwcycli bijhouden. De indicator (D) zal knipperen

op de display om aan te geven dat het apparaat moet worden ontkalkt. Indien het apparaat moet

worden ontkalkt, gebruik dan een geschikt ontkalkingsmiddel. Speciale ontkalkingsmiddelen zijn

verkrijgbaar bij ons servicestation.

• Voor ontkalking van het apparaat moet het oude koolstolter uit het waterreservoir worden

verwijderd. Het koolstolter verwijdert chloor en andere verontreinigende stoen uit het water

voor een zuivere koesmaak. Na ontkalking van het apparaat moet een nieuw koolstolter in het

waterreservoir worden geplaatst. Nieuwe koolstolters zijn verkrijgbaar bij ons servicestation.

Let op: Princess is niet aansprakelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door ontkalkingsmiddelen. Schade

veroorzaakt door het niet regelmatig ontkalken van het apparaat wordt niet gedekt door de garantie.

Voordat u verdergaat, vragen wij graag uw aandacht voor de volgende punten:

• Verwijder voor het ontkalken van het apparaat de netstekker uit het stopcontact en wacht totdat het

apparaat is afgekoeld.

• Dompel het apparaat niet onder in water of andere vloeistoen.

• Zorg ervoor dat de maalfunctie niet is geactiveerd bij het ontkalken van het apparaat.

• Open het deksel (25).

• Leeg indien nodig het waterreservoir (14).

• Verwijder de koolstolterhouder (20) uit het waterreservoir (14).

• Open het deksel (28).

• Verwijder het oude koolstolter (30).

• Plaats het nieuwe koolstolter (29).

• Sluit het deksel (28).

Let op: De koolstolterhouder mag niet in het waterreservoir worden geplaatst voordat het apparaat is ontkalkt.

• Vul het waterreservoir (14) met een geschikt ontkalkingsmiddel.

• Plaats de koekan (16) op de verwarmingsplaat (18).

• Plaats de netstekker in het stopcontact.

• Schakel het apparaat in door de aan/uitknop (1) in te drukken.

• Laat het apparaat lopen totdat 1/3 van het ontkalkingsmiddel zich in de koekan (16) bevindt.

• Schakel het apparaat uit door de aan/uitknop (1) in te drukken.

• Laat het ontkalkingsmiddel ongeveer 30 minuten werken.

• Schakel het apparaat in door de aan/uitknop (1) in te drukken.

• Laat het apparaat lopen totdat het resterende ontkalkingsmiddel zich in de koekan (16) bevindt.

Het apparaat stopt automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir (14) leeg is.

Spoel het apparaat tweemaal volgens de onderstaande procedure:

• Vul het waterreservoir (14) met schoon water tot de maximummarkering op de waterniveau-indicator (15).

• Plaats de lege koekan (16) op de verwarmingsplaat (18).

• Schakel het apparaat in door de aan/uit-knop (1) in te drukken.

• Laat alle water door het apparaat lopen. Het apparaat stopt automatisch wanneer het waterreservoir

(14) leeg is.

• Plaats de koolstolterhouder (20) in het waterreservoir (14).

• Sluit het deksel (25).

• Schakel het apparaat uit door de aan/uit-knop (1) in te drukken.

• Houd de koehoeveelheid-keuzeknop (3) en de koesterkte-keuzeknop (4) ingedrukt totdat de

indicator (D) verdwijnt van de display (8) (g. C).

• Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Droog de buitenkant van het apparaat

met een schone, droge doek. Het apparaat is klaar voor gebruik.

Elektrische veiligheid

• Controleer voor gebruik altijd of de netspanning overeenkomt met de

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

• BLUE NEUTRAL

• BROWN LIVE

• GREEN/YELLOW EARTH

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour

markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

• The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N

or coloured black.

• The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter

L or coloured red.

• The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with

the letter E or ( ) and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.

If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be tted, or if any other type of plug is

used, a 13Amp fuse must be tted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the distribution board.
